Who We Are

HBT Advisory are Accountants & Business Advisors based in Pakenham servicing areas in Melbourne, South Eastern Suburbs and Gippsland.

Our mission is help our client’s on their journey to a better business by helping them understand their business and placing them on the road for a healthy business future.

HBT Advisory is a tightknit team with Andrew Harper as Director. Andrew doesn’t take himself too seriously, but he takes what he does very seriously. Taxation is his life’s passion and has worked hard to be best informed in accounting current standards.

Andrew founded the HBT Advisory as a one-man band in 2017 and it has grown to have Jonelle Gale join the team as Accounting Assistant in 2020, who facilitates day to day office duties as well as individual tax returns. Then, Erin Lesina joined HBT in 2022 as an Accountant specialising in Individual and Business Taxation.

We provide training to our team to ensure they are up to date with current legislation so we can provide our clients with timely advice and support.

Our main focus is being passionate about what we do, while still having fun at work. But ultimately, we care for our clients and our team and we want to help our clients achieve their business and personal goals through proactive service and ongoing advice.

Our Experience

With 15 + years experience working with small to medium sized businesses, Our Founding Director, Andrew Harper has worked with Start-ups, business looking to grow as well as businesses looking to maximise their value as part of business succession or sale. He has also had experience working with businesses in financial difficulty and has seen what can make or break a business.

Andrew Harper is the Director and Founder of HBT Advisory Pty Ltd and has over 115 years + experience working in public practice. He has a passion for working with individuals and businesses to help clients achieve their financial goals and to offer them support with their taxation compliance and operation of their business.

Having started in Insolvency and being able to see the warning signs of a troubled business, he has worked with clients to help start and grow their businesses.

With his friendly nature and personal touch, he enjoys working with clients to help them create efficiencies in their financial processes through technology so business owners can concentrate.

About Erin Lesina

Erin is an Accountant at HBT Advisory Pty Ltd and has 10 years’ experience working in Accounting roles. Erin has vast experience working with individuals and businesses to facilitate goals and support them with operation of their businesses.

Erin started with HBT Advisory in April 2022 after building her career at another accounting firm in Emerald. Having started as a bookkeeper and working hard in her studies, she completed her CPA in 2021 and is an asset to clients individually or companies growing their businesses.
